BC Special Wire Co., LLC
BC Special Wire Co., LLC CCA & CCS wire — made in Monterrey, Mexico

Mexico-made bimetallic wire for North American cable, telecom, and grounding manufacturers

Copper-Clad Aluminum and Copper-Clad Steel Wire for North American Cable, Telecom, and Grounding Applications.

Two precision-manufactured, quality-focused wire families backed by customer-ready specifications and the documentation procurement teams expect.

ISO 9001 quality certified ASTM-Compliance Global + North American supply chain support

Products

Focused on the two products customers actually source: CCA and CCS wire.

Built for cable manufacturing, telecom, grounding, and electrical assemblies that need clear specifications, consistent quality, and a reliable RFQ path.

Copper Clad Aluminum Wire

A lighter conductor choice for cable and assembly programs that need copper surface performance with weight and cost advantages.

  • Hard Drawn/ Annealed Customization
  • Balanced conductivity and handling
  • Cost-effective

Copper Clad Steel Wire

Built for strength, conductivity, and stable performance in applications where a steel core and copper surface both matter.

  • Trace wire and grounding systems
  • High tensile toughness with a conductive copper surface
  • Specify to match the code and application requirements

Reference Metrics

Reference tables for engineering review and procurement comparison.

Values below are reference points for customer discussions. Ask for current test reports, drawing confirmation, and approval documentation for your specific program.

CCA reference CCA 10% by volume
AWG Diameter (mm) Cross Sectional Area (mm²) Nominal Copper Thickness (mm) Max DC Resistance (Ω/km)
CCS reference CCS 21% conductivity
AWG Diameter (mm) Section Area (mm²) Tensile Strength 40HS (MPa) Min. Elongation 40HS (%) Nominal DC Resistance (Ω/km)

Applications

Applications that match real procurement and engineering conversations.

Specify CCA or CCS based on the code path, electrical target, mechanical load, and approval needs of the end product.

Use the right conductor for the application, final code requirement, and approval path. Ask for current documentation when comparing CCA and CCS programs.

Process

From copper strip to finished bimetallic conductor.

A continuous cladding process metallurgically bonds copper to the aluminum or steel core, which is then drawn down to specification — the step that determines surface performance and consistency batch to batch.

Quality

Quality, documentation, and repeatability customers can verify.

Keep the conversation grounded in the evidence customers ask for: process control, traceability, and the current approval package for the program at hand.

Certificate Certification ISO 9001 quality system

Quality management system positioning for repeatable industrial output and audit-ready conversations.

Standards ASTM-focused references

Reference data and test methods can be reviewed with the current product package.

B2B fit Supplier-ready

Experienced in supporting manufacturing partners through product integration, process optimization, and production-ready specifications for cable, wire, and electrical assemblies.

Company

Made in Monterrey, Mexico. Sold and supported in the US.

BC Special Wire Co., LLC is the US trading entity for BC Conductor Technology S.A. de C.V., our manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico. Both are part of the Baichuan group, giving customers nearshore production with the scale and process depth of a global conductor manufacturer.

For North American manufacturers, that means USMCA-region production, no trans-Pacific lead times, and a US point of contact — with the offer kept narrow on purpose: CCA, CCS, quality documentation, and a direct RFQ path.
